Chris Humphrey
As a composer, I take great joy in writing music for theatrical productions, short films, choirs, soloists, and even puppet shows.  I also use my compositional skills to create sound design for theatre.  Here are some of my favorite compositions and soundscapes.  I hope you enjoy them, too.

  Steve Barney's puppet-driven song-and-dance political satire Puppet Government was a favorite at the 2006 New York Fringe Festival. Austin, New York, Dallas.

  A Christmas Legend   Unison, harp, clarinet    The text of this legend of a story who flies to Bethlehem was found in the flyleaf of a 15th century prayerbook.
 Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day   SATB, oboe, bassoon, guitar    A traditional text in a lilting, neo-renaissance setting.
 The Mistletoe Carol   SAA and cello    An introit welcoming Queen Holly and King Ivy to the winter feast.
